Annunziata SuiteSuite Rainbow

Where Norman history meets contemporary hospitality.

Viale J. F. Kennedy 140 · across from the metro

A gold threshold on a white wall, a wrought-iron gate, the silence of an Aversa courtyard. Annunziata Suite is born here, beside the ancient Arco dell'Annunziata that gives everything its name.

Historical notes

The Arco dell'Annunziata,
the ancient heart of Aversa

The Santissima Annunziata complex is one of the noblest pages in Aversa's history. Founded in the 14th century as a charitable house and hospital for the needy, over the centuries it became church, bell tower and arch: a monumental passage spanning the street that the townspeople still recognise as the symbol of their city.

Aversa itself is a city of Norman foundation: around 1030 it was the first county the Normans established in southern Italy, even before Naples and Sicily. Since then the city has guarded churches and convents to the point of earning the name city of a hundred bell towers.

Annunziata Suite gathers this heritage in its name and its symbol: the arch with the bell tower, redrawn in gold, welcomes guests from the very threshold of Viale Kennedy.

What makes this land unique

The excellences of Aversa

The hundred bell towers

Churches, convents and domes shape the city's skyline. A walk through the old town is a journey between Romanesque and Baroque art, just minutes from the Suite.

Asprinio di Aversa

The white wine grown on the alberata aversana, vines married to poplars that climb up to fifteen metres. A rare, crisp and ancient DOC, to discover in the cellar.

Cimarosa's city

Domenico Cimarosa, one of the greatest composers of 18th-century Europe, was born in Aversa. The city dedicates its theatre to him and a still-living musical tradition.

The Norman roots

The first Norman county in southern Italy, Aversa preserves its medieval layout, the Cathedral of San Paolo and a borderland identity between Naples and Terra di Lavoro.

Mozzarella & table

We are in the heart of Terra di Lavoro: PDO Campania buffalo mozzarella, convent pastries and a cuisine that tells of the most authentic Campania.

The Royal Palace nearby

Just a few kilometres separate Aversa from the Royal Palace of Caserta, a UNESCO site. A stay at the Suite is also the ideal base to explore Campania.

Linea Arcobaleno

Rainbow, across from the metro

The Rainbow Suite is named after the rainbow, and it is no coincidence: it looks right onto the stop of the Linea Arcobaleno, the metro that connects Aversa to Naples and the Phlegraean area.

Step off the train, cross the street and you're home. No car, no parking: the city, the station and the connections to Naples are literally on the doorstep of Viale Kennedy 140.

The station, right across

The Aversa Centro station on the Linea Arcobaleno (EAV, Line 11) is on Viale J. F. Kennedy, in front of the suite: step out, cross over and you're on the platform. It's the line's terminus, so there's always a train about to depart.

From here you reach Naples and the Giugliano area without a car. The historic Aversa RFI station (Trenitalia), about 15 minutes on foot, adds regional and long-distance trains to Naples, Caserta, Rome and the South. Air Campania buses to nearby towns also run along Viale Kennedy.
